Анотація

Досліджено загальносвітові тенденції виникнення та розвитку конкретних напрямів волонтерства в контексті викликів і нагальних потреб суспільства від середини ХІХ століття до сьогодення. Визначено найбільш актуальні напрями волонтерської діяльності в Україні відповідно до чинного законодавства та пріоритетів населення. Задекларовано доцільність формування дієвої системи мотивування різних страт населення до волонтерської діяльності.

VOLUNTEER ACTIVITY DEVELOPMENT TENDENCIES AS AN INDICATOR OF EMERGENCY NEEDS OF SOCIETY

English abstract

Governmental structures are often unable to provide adequate social assistance and adequate support to the needy and affected sections of the population in times of intense social tension, prolonged economic and political instability in the country. Activation of volunteering activity is of particular relevance at these stages of social development. Volunteer work provides many social policy objectives and is not limited to any socio-demographic framework. Therefore, the task of researching the relationship between the peculiarities of the emergence and activation of specific areas of volunteer activity in order to further identify the basic motives of the population to charity arises. Global trends in the emergence and development of specific strands of volunteering have been explored in the context of the challenges and urgent needs of society from the mid-19th century to the present. Volunteering today is an important component of the development of every socially-oriented state. Volunteer organizations exist in 80 countries. At the present stage of its development, volunteering responds promptly to the urgent needs of society by activating volunteer activity in the appropriate areas. The most relevant areas of volunteer activity in Ukraine are determined in accordance with the current legislation and priorities of the population. In many socially oriented, economically developed countries, volunteering is an integral part of self-regulation. In order to support and maintain the effective functioning of this type of socially useful activity, it is necessary to create an effective system of motivating the population to volunteer in the context of specific executions.
