Анотація

Узагальнено наукові підходи до аналізу та гігієнічної оцінки якості повітря робочої зони та впливу його на здоров’я працівника. Обґрунтовано доцільність використання при аналізі якості повітря робочої зони та оцінці ефективності нововведень «концепції ризиків». Використання у якості критерію впливу на здоров’я працівника шкідливих забруднюючих речовин повітряного середовища виробничих приміщень дозволило по-новому підійти до гігієнічної оцінки його якості. За основу такої оцінки використано величину сумарного неканцерогенного ризику погіршення здоров’я працівника під час перебування в робочій зоні, що містить потенційно небезпечні речовини. Використання сучасних методів аналізу ризику дозволило оцінити реальну загрозу для здоров’я працівників та обґрунтувати необхідність розробки відповідних превентивних заходів.

SAFETY ASSESSMENT OF THE WORKING ENVIRONMENT WITH THE POTENTIAL RISK ANALYSIS TO THE WORKERS' HEALTH

English abstract

Scientific approaches to the analysis and hygienic assessment of air quality in the work area and its impact on the worker health are summarized. The expediency of using the working area in the air quality analysis and evaluating the effectiveness of “risk concept” innovations are substantiated. The “risk” approach provided an opportunity to rank harmful factors according to the real and potential danger to the employee under specific conditions, to determine the damage to health from pollution of his environment. This determined the feasibility, priority and effectiveness of measures to reduce the adverse effects of workplace pollution on the worker health. The use of chemical indoor air pollution in industrial premises, as a criterion for the impact on worker health, has allowed a new approach to the hygienic assessment of its quality. This estimate is based on the total non-carcinogenic risk of worker health deterioration while he is in the work area, containing potentially hazardous substances. It has been established that the air in the work area is not safe for health due to the magnitude of non-carcinogenic risk. The potential risk assessment to human health and the assessment of the reduction in life expectancy, based on it, have shown that the air in the work area can pose a threat to gender and age groups. The calculations shown that it is necessary to take into account the combined action of all substances contained in the air of the work area. Thus, the total risk can reach significant values when the content of toxic substances is in the air with potential risks that do not exceed the permissible level, and reducing the content of harmful substances to only regulatory values does not reduce the total risk to an acceptable level. The use of modern risk analysis methods has made it possible to assess the real threat to the workers' health and justify the need to develop appropriate preventive measures.
