Анотація

В сучасному світі навички управління проєктами допомагають командам та організаціям досягати цілей ефективніше та швидше. Пошук найбільш раціональних та дієвих способів планування, управління та виконання робіт важливий для будь-якого колективу та компанії. В теорії і практиці управління проєктами немає універсальних процесів, інструментів та компонентів, проте проєктний менеджер повинен знати і розуміти різні методи, інструменти, процедури для того, щоб вміло підібрати і використати під цілі конкретного проєкту. В статті розглянуто етапи ініціювання та планування проєктів, розкрито суть та особливості використання деяких інструментів для ефективної постановки цілей проєкту, відстеження їх виконання в процесі моніторингу і реалізації проєкту, оцінювання результативності при закритті проєкту.

BASIC APPROACHES TO PROJECT PLANNING, MONITORING AND EVALUATION

English abstract

In today’s world, project management skills help teams and organizations achieve goals more efficiently and quickly. Finding the most rational and effective ways of planning, managing and performing work is important for any team and company. There are no universal processes, tools and components in the theory and practice of project management. However, the project manager must know and understand various methods, tools, and procedures in order to skillfully choose and use them for the purposes of a specific project. The article examines the stages of project initiation and planning, reveals the essence and features of using some tools to effectively set project goals, track their implementation in the process of project monitoring and implementation, and evaluate performance at project closure. Each stage is characterized by specific business processes and tools that work most effectively in a specific stage of the life cycle. Also, an important category that permeates all stages is the concept of project management functions. It is the combination of functions and tools for their implementation that ensures the implementation of the project and allows you to achieve the desired result. The planning of each project should begin with the detailed development of its concept, which involves the formation of the idea and goal of the project, the setting of tasks, a description of the expected results, the formation of the main characteristics and a preliminary, sometimes very approximate, assessment of the feasibility of its implementation. A project cannot be successful if the team does not know its goals. Without clear goals, the team not only loses motivation, but also risks starting to work on the wrong goal or spending excess energy on unproductive work. One of the popular and effective tools that should be used at the stage of initiating and developing a project idea is a goal tree, which can be built using various methods described in the article. On the basis of clearly defined objectives, Key Performance Indicators should be formulated, which are quantitative measures used to assess progress in achieving the established objectives. Each project has its own set of KPIs depending on long-term goals, field of activity, type of management and many other factors.
