Анотація

На фоні екологічних катастроф актуальними є зміни принципів і підходів проєктування життєвого середовища, пошук шляхів збереження життя, покращення складної екологічної ситуації. Пермакультурний дизайн включає в себе програми відновлення деградованих екосистем та шляхи подолання екологічних проблем, а також створення якісно нового екологічно- чистого та економічно-доцільного життєвого середовища.

PERMACULTURE DESIGN FOR THE RESTORATION OF THE ENVIRONMENT IN THE DESTROYED TERRITORIES OF UKRAINE

English abstract

Against the background of ecological disasters, changes in the principles and approaches of designing the living environment, finding ways to preserve life, and improving the complex ecological situation are urgent. The founders and ideologues of permaculture have developed programs to restore degraded eco-systems, work on overcoming environmental problems, and create a qualitatively new ecologically clean and economically feasible living environment. Permaculture design includes programs for the restoration of degraded eco-systems and ways to overcome environmental problems, as well as the creation of a qualitatively new ecologically clean and economically expedient living environment. The philosophy of permaculture is based on three ethical principles: care for the earth, care for people, fair distribution. Permaculture is aimed primarily at the reorganization of already inhabited territories that need radical rehabilitation and redevelopment. The main methods of permaculture design: the principle of energy efficiency of buildings and the architectural environment; zoning as the main energy-saving component of the planning of the entire area; principle of water management; active restoration of degraded and devastated natural systems; restoration of degraded soils and regenerative agriculture in gardens; diversity instead of uniformity; creation of forest plantations; replacement of ornamental plants with useful, productive or medicinal types of plants; the principle of relative arrangement of design elements; preferential use of biological resources instead of fuel; on-site energy processing; use and activation of the mechanisms of natural change of species, with the aim of improving soil and other conditions; spend the least effort to obtain the maximum possible result; creating systems for collecting energy during its excess and storing it until the moment when it is needed. The application of the principles of permaculture design makes it possible to significantly change approaches to the design of settlements, their traditional image, organization and quality of life of residents, to significantly affect the ecology of the area and its microclimate, to solve the problems of energy conservation and problems related to environmental pollution – urgent tasks in the formation of modern living environment.
