Анотація

У статті виділено ключові проблеми сучасного стану цифровізації глобальної економіки. Проаналізовано тенденції інформатизації суспільства в світовому економічному просторі та чинники, які впливають на ці процеси. Значну увагу приділено висвітленню питань адаптації суспільства до передових технологій для максимального використання потенціалу ІТ-сфери. У статті висвітлено суперечності цифрової трансформації в епоху глобальних змін на ринку комунікацій. Зокрема, це критичність питання інформаційної безпеки через нестачу кваліфікованих фахівців з кібербезпеки. В статті також приводиться оцінка і прогноз зростання капітальних витрат на цифрову інфраструктуру та програмне забезпечення. До важливих суперечностей віднесено конкуренцію серед операторів через використання електронної SIM-карти та віртуального оператора стільникового зв’язку, що використовує існуючу інфраструктуру іншого оператора, але продає послуги під власною маркою. В статті наголошується, що найбільш проблемним регуляторним питанням для інформаційних фірм є ліцензійні, податкові обмеження і правила.

GLOBAL PROBLEMS AND CONTRADICTIONS OF DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION OF SOCIETY

English abstract

The article identifies the key problems of the current state of digitalization of the global economy. The trends of informatization of society in the world economic space and factors that influence these processes are analyzed. Considerable attention is paid to highlighting the adaptation of society to advanced technologies to maximize the potential of the IT sector. The article highlights the contradictions of digital transformation in the era of global changes in the communications market. In particular, this is the criticality of the issue of information security due to the lack of qualified cybersecurity specialists. The problems of using artificial intelligence in different countries, which has great potential for improving life and development of society, are highlighted. However, along with this, when using AI, there are threats such as increased unemployment, threats to the privacy and security of citizens. It is emphasized that ethical standards and effective regulation are needed to ensure the responsible use of digital technologies. The article also provides an assessment and forecast of the growth of capital expenditures for digital infrastructure and software. The use of digital technologies can increase productivity and reduce costs, but it can also require significant amounts of energy and materials, which has a negative impact on the environment. Important contradictions include competition among operators through the use of an electronic SIM card and a virtual mobile operator using the existing infrastructure of another operator, but selling services under its own brand. On the one hand, the Internet and digital technologies can increase the availability of information and services, but they can also lead to the centralization of power in the hands of technology giants, which creates contradictions regarding the control and monopolization of the market. The article notes that the most problematic regulatory issue for information firms are licensing, tax restrictions and rules.
