Анотація

Запропонована стаття присвячена питанню ефективної організації стоматологічної допомоги населенню, як важливої складової національного здоров’я. В ній розглядаються рекомендації ВООЗ щодо організації стоматологічної допомоги населенню. Також в дослідженні розглянуто досвід організації стоматологічної допомоги населенню таких країн, як Німеччина, Великобританія та Швеція. Ситуація в стоматологічній допомозі в Україні складна через обмежене фінансування, обмежену доступність та низьку якість медичних послуг. Необхідно збільшити державне фінансування і розробити стратегії для поліпшення якості та доступності стоматологічної допомоги для всього населення на основі зарубіжного досвіду.

FOREIGN EXPERIENCE IN ORGANIZING DENTAL CARE SYSTEM FOR THE POPULATION

English abstract

The proposed article is devoted to the issue of effective organization of dental care for the population, as an important component of national health, in particular, effective organization of dental care not only improves the health of the population, but also has great economic, social and public importance. Providing affordable and high-quality dental care is an important task for every country. The article discusses the recommendations of the WHO regarding the organization of dental care for the population, namely: primary prevention; systematic dental care for children; dental care for the adult population in terms of circulation; personnel training in the required quantity, quality and types for the implementation of the aforementioned parts of the system; material and financial support of system components; assessment and monitoring (information system). Also, this study examines the experience of organizing dental care for the population of such countries as Germany, Great Britain and Sweden. In Germany, the dental care system mainly consists of two main components: insurance and private, this system ensures diversity and accessibility of dental care in Germany and helps ensure quality and coverage for different social groups. In Great Britain, free dental care, which is financed from the state budget, is provided to certain categories of the population in accordance with certain criteria. These categories include: children under 18; mothers and nursing mothers; persons receiving social benefits. In general, Sweden’s experience in the field of dental care is impressive for its focus on the patient, improving the quality of services and creating a system that ensures access to dental care for the entire population. The situation in dental care in Ukraine is difficult due to limited funding, limited availability and low quality of medical services. It is necessary to increase public funding and develop strategies to improve the quality and accessibility of dental care for the entire population based on foreign experience.
