Abstract
The academic discipline "Regional Economics" is the norm of discipline for the preparation of students of the specialty "Entrepreneurship, trade and exchange activities" in the field of knowledge 07 "Management and Administration" of full-time and part-time forms of education, and is taught in accordance with the curriculum for the training of students for the educational level "Bachelor". The curriculum prepares the foundation for the study of other key economic disciplines. The subject of the discipline is the economic complex of Ukraine and its regions, the economic problems of the spatial organization of society, territorial economic systems, a set of economic, natural resource and demographic factors that determine the development and deployment of productive forces and the formation of regional economic systems. The study of the discipline "Regional Economics" directly relies on the following disciplines: "Fundamentals of Ecology", "Statistics".
