Abstract
У статті проаналізовано особливості інституту смертної кари. Окремої уваги приділено історичному аспекту зародження та розвитку смертної кари у світі, проаналізовано сучасну ситуацію її впровадження як виду покарань. Досліджено можливі «за» та «проти» смертної кари.
English abstract
The article analyzes the features of the death penalty institution. Special attention is paid to the historical aspect of the origin and development of the death penalty in the world, the current situation of its implementation, as a measure of punishment, is analyzed. The possible pros and cons of the death penalty are investigated.
