English abstract

The article aims to analyze the current state of management systems of universities and possible scenarios for their transformation. The methodological framework of the analysis is an overview approach and the principle of typology of structural configurations of control systems. The empirical base was formed by the research results on management systems and organizational culture of universities in the Slovak Republic and Ukraine. The legislative grounds of universities of the countries are considered. The analysis of the state of organizational culture and educational activities of the universities of the above countries is carried out. In the course of the study, the conditions and prerequisites for the development of other scenarios for the transformation of management systems of universities are considered, their features and capabilities are assessed. The article is of a problematic nature and is addressed to researchers and heads of universities.
