Abstract

In modern construction, high performance concrete (HPC) is becoming increasingly important, allowing the production of highly responsible and unique structures. Development of the technology of this type of concrete requires in- depth and comprehensive studies of its properties and the possibility of their further improvement, expansion of the raw material base, including the expense of technogenic raw materials and industrial waste and The authors will be grateful for any feedback on the contents of the monograph and will try to take them into account in further research.development of a methodology for designing optimal compositions with a set of normalised quality indicators. This monograph presents the results of the authors’ research in the above direction in relation to the main variety of HPC – high-strength quick-hardening concrete – carried out at the National University of Water and Environmental Engineering (Ukraine) and Ariel University (Israel). The focus of the monograph is on the presentation of the developed methodology for multi-parameter prediction of the main properties of high-performance concrete and fibre-reinforced concrete based on it using experimental statistical models. On the basis of the obtained models, the possibility of designing optimal compositions of concrete and fibre-reinforced concrete mixes is considered. This monograph complements the cycle of works performed earlier by the authors and covered in the following monographs (L. Dvorkin, V. Zhitkovsky and Y.
