EFFICIENCY OF USING NONFIRED MATERIALS IN ECO-BUILDING

English abstract

The paper presents modernized technologies for the production of non-combustible building materials from local raw materials, ecomaterials and products to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by reducing the amount of cement binder used, which corresponds to the direction of Ukraine’s energy «decarbonization». The article presents directions, guidelines and methodological approaches to the formation of state policy in the field of energy conservation on the basis of current trends in economic, energy, environmental, scientific and other processes of society, as well as revising the tasks to improve energy efficiency provision of services. We need to develop a system of monitoring, reporting and verification of greenhouse gas emissions for the Paris Agreements implementation. Such a mechanism is key tool for implementing the concept of low-carbon development in Ukraine. To achieve the lowest cement use in the construction products and materials manufacture, modern chipboard and cement fibrolite are replaced by modern technologies for the manufacture of adobe bricks, soil blocks, corrugated concrete. The growing demand for economically and energy efficient construction is explained by the need to ensure a healthy and balanced inner climate. Reducing the cement consumption in the production of modern energy-intensive construction products and materials will ensure long-term socio-economic development of the state, in the welfare of the population will increase and the amount of greenhouse gas emissions will decrease. This ensures the implementation of progressive models of rational use of natural raw materials, fuel, electricity energy, utilization of industrial waste, reduction of CO2 emissions, which allows to solve a number of important environmental, economic and social problems, and also corresponds to the strategy of balanced development and gives opportunity to implement the practice of clean production.
