DEVELOPMENT OF CONCEPTUAL APPROACHES TO POST-WAR URBAN RECONSTRUCTION

English abstract

The research presented in the article focuses on developing conceptual approaches to post-war urban regeneration. The relevance of this topic is explained by the need to restore and develop the national economy and infrastructure after the war, as well as to preserve the socio-economic stability of cities. The purpose of the study is to study and analyze existing conceptual approaches to urban reconstruction, their effectiveness, and to develop new approaches for high-quality and effective reconstruction of cities after war or conflict. The research used different methods, including an analytical method to analyze scientific literature and statistical data on post-war urban reconstruction, a comparative method to compare the experiences of countries around the world in post-war urban reconstruction The article provides an analysis of the history and experience of urban reconstruction after wars and conflicts, as well as an assessment of the effectiveness of existing approaches, their advantages and disadvantages. Based on this, new conceptual approaches to the post-war reconstruction of cities were developed, taking into account modern technologies, trends, and the needs of the population. The following approaches are define: geographical, architectural, economic, sociological and ecological. The he current state of conceptual approaches development is divided into four main areas, which include the development of technologies and innovations, ensuring the quality of life of local residents, improving mobility and smart urban development. Successful examples of urban regeneration are presented. Also, the shortcomings of modern conceptual approaches to urban regeneration are listed. The results of the study indicate the need to improve approaches to the reconstruction of post-war cities, in particular, the use of innovative technologies, the involvement of specialists in various fields for an integrated approach, and the active participation of the public in the decision-making process. The obtained results can be used to improve the practice of post-war urban reconstruction and to promote the creation of a viable and comfortable urban environment.
