Анотація

Наведено аналіз стану галузі рисівництва в Україні та обґрунтовано основні шляхи збільшення виробництва рису. Головними причинами зниження ефективності вітчизняного рисівництва стали незадовільний технічний стан рисових зрошувальних систем, значне погіршення еколого-меліоративного стану зрошуваних земель, надмірна хімізація посівів рису та великі об'єми скидів забруднених вод, розпаювання і приватизація земель, недотримання рекомендованих сівозмін і технологій вирощування сільськогосподарських культур, підтримання необхідного водного та сольового режимів ґрунтів тощо. В Україні існують всі можливості для збільшення виробництва рису шляхом максимального використання потенціалу існуючих рисових зрошувальних систем та розширення посівних площ рису шляхом будівництва нових та реконструкції виведених із сільськогосподарського використання рисових систем.

WAYS TO INCREASE THE EFFICIENCY OF RICE IRRIGATION SYSTEMS OF SOUTHERN UKRAINE

English abstract

Purpose. Investigation and identification of the factors which caused the decline of rice production in Ukraine existing rice irrigation systems and development of recommendations for its renovation and efficiency. Methodology. The analysis of the rice industry state has been carried out and the main ways to increase the rice production are substantiated. Conclusion. The main reasons for the efficiency of domestic rice production decline were unsatisfactory rice irrigation systems technical conditions, significant deterioration of irrigated lands ecological and reclamation state, excessive rice crops chemicalization and large amount of contaminated water discharges, disintegration and privatization of lands, non-compliance with recommended crop rotation and crop growing technologies, maintenance of the soils’ necessary water and salt regimes. Ukraine has every opportunity to increase the production of rice by maximizing the potential of existing rice irrigation systems and expanding the rice areas by the construction of new and reconstruction of rice systems withdrawn from agricultural use. Practical value. The complex of measures which includes monitoring of systems for the purpose to establish their technical, technological and environmental capacity, the reconstruction of rice irrigation systems aiming to improve their technical condition, the rice share increase in crop rotation with the improvement of rice cultivation technology on the resource conservation bases considering modern economic and ecological requirements, the introduction of rice culture with periodic irrigation, the introduction of rice culture with transplantation is proposed. In addition, Ukraine has available land resources to expand the rice systems areas by the construction of new water and energy saving ones.
