REGULATORY AND LEGAL FRAMEWORK FOR THE PROVISION OF SOCIAL SERVICES IN A TERRITORIAL COMMUNITY

English abstract

The transformations that are taking place in the social sphere have become the focus of many scholars, journalists and public figures in the coming years. In addition, the Ministry of Social Policy, district and regional administrations systematically issue explanations and instructions on obtaining social services in transition. However, the dynamism of research processes provokes the consideration of many unexplored issues that require further disclosure. So today, the basic legal act that regulates the process of providing social services in Ukraine, adopted in a new version in 2020, the Law of Ukraine «On Social Services» №2671-VIII. To consider the directions of concentration of social services, in our work we propose to study the etymology of the category of social services. Because, according to the Law of Ukraine «On Social Services», social services are measures aimed at preventing difficult life circumstances, overcoming them or reducing the negative consequences of such circumstances for those affected.
