Анотація

Статтю присвячено розгляду сучасних тенденцій застосування цифрових технологій для налагодження процесів управління міжнародною міграцією. Визначено найактуальніші цифрові можливості у сфері міжнародної міграції, особливості застосування окремих цифрових технологій у процесах міжнародної міграції, приклади їх можливого практичного застосування. Розглянуто можливі виклики організації процесів міграції, пов’язані із розвитком цифрових технологій.

APPLICATION OF MODERN DIGITAL TECHNOLOGIES AND ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE IN INTERNATIONAL MIGRATION PROCESSES

English abstract

The purpose of the article is to study the theoretical and practical principles of using modern digital technologies in international migration processes. The article is devoted to the consideration of modern trends in the use of digital technologies for the establishment of international migration management processes. The most relevant digital opportunities in the field of international migration, features of the use of certain digital technologies in the processes of international migration, examples of their possible practical application are determined. Possible challenges of organizing migration processes related to the development of digital technologies are considered. The authors came to the conclusion that digitalization, digitization and datafication significantly change approaches to migration management in different directions and components. The following areas of application of digital technologies in this area are most relevant: digital border crossing technologies; digitalization of application submission processes; use of video conferences for remote interviews; the use of artificial intelligence to facilitate the decision-making process; use of blockchain technology; opportunities for migrants to use social, financial and other digital technologies of the host country and the country of origin; virtual migration. Related challenges make it necessary to develop approaches to data protection, verification of their authenticity, etc. These processes will continue to improve and transform at an accelerated pace. Progressive international migration management systems with the use of digital technologies will significantly improve the interaction between countries of origin and countries of residence of migrants, will ensure the comfort of adaptation to the new environment for migrants with the use of digital tools.
