Анотація

Стаття розглядає динаміку основних економічних результатів діяльності сільськогосподарських підприємств України. В публікації розглянуто динаміку та структуру вирощування основних сільськогосподарських культур рослинництва а також динаміку та структуру відгодівлі основних видів продукції тваринництва. Аналіз здійснено на основі даних за період з 1991 та 2024 року, що дозволило авторам зробити ключові висновки стосовно довгострокових наслідків цих тенденцій розвитку аграрного сектору для досягнення сталості його функціонування. Було ідентифіковано зворотні тенденції в сільському господарстві України – збільшення урожайності та валової продукції рослинництва та зменшення або стагнація вирощування тварин та птахівництва. В статті окремо встановлено вплив воєнних дій на динаміку аграрного виробництва. Також було проаналізовано зв'язок між змінами структури сільськогосподарського виробництва та зміною структури та обсягів внесення органічних та мінеральних добрив.

ASSESSMENT OF TRENDS IN AGRICULTURAL PRODUCTION IN UKRAINE AND THEIR IMPACT ON THE SUSTAINABILITY IN AGRICULTURE

English abstract

The purpose of the article is to draw conclusions about the impact of trends and dynamics in agricultural production on ensuring the sustainability of Ukraine's agricultural sector, identifying the main risks and outlining areas for improving its regulation. The main objectives of the study are to assess the dynamics and structure of the cultivation of major crops, the dynamics and structure of husbandry production, and the dynamics and structure of The purpose of the article is to draw conclusions about the impact of trends and dynamics in agricultural production on ensuring the sustainability of Ukraine's agricultural sector, identifying the main risks and outlining areas for improving its regulation. The main objectives of the study are to assess the dynamics and structure of the cultivation of major crops, the dynamics and structure of husbandry production, and the dynamics and structure of fertiliser and pesticide application based on long-term data and to draw conclusions based on these data regarding trends in the development of the agricultural sector in terms of achieving sustainability. The article examines the dynamics of the main economic results of agricultural enterprises in Ukraine. The publication examines the dynamics and structure of the major crops cultivation, as well as the dynamics and structure of the major husbandry components. The analysis is based on data for the period from 1991 to 2024, which allowed the authors to draw key conclusions about the long-term consequences of these trends in the development of the agricultural sector taking into account the goal of achieving its sustainability. Reverse trends in Ukrainian agriculture have been identified: an increase in crop yields and gross crop production, and a decrease or stagnation in husbandry and poultry farming. The relationship between changes in the structure of agricultural production and changes in the structure and volume of organic and mineral fertilizer application was also analyzed. The article separately establishes the impact of military operations on the dynamics of agricultural production. Article reveals the connection between increasing intensity and reducing reserves for improving the sustainability of agricultural production, as well as signs of approaching the limit of technological efficiency, which could lead to a slowdown in the economic growth in agriculture and, in the long term, may have negative consequences for both the country's financial and monetary security and social stability, as well as cause accumulation of environmental risks.
