Анотація

В статті дано визначення терміну легкий персональний транспорт. Подано підходи до класифікації легкого персонального транспорту. Приведено характеристики основних видів легкого персонального транспорту. Перераховано переваги та недоліки використання легкого персонального транспорту. Розглянуто існуючий попит на використання легкого персонального транспорту. Зроблено огляд закордонного досвіду впровадження легкого персонального транспорту. Визначено загальні підходи до розробки інфраструктури легкого персонального транспорту. Запропоновано основні етапи подальшого дослідження.

GENERAL APPROACHES TO THE LIGHT PERSONAL TRANSPORT INFRASTRUCTURE DEVELOPMENT

English abstract

The extensive development of urban transport systems through the construction of new roads and the extension of the streets carriageways has recently become ineffective. The urban development strategy in the 2000s transformed from a city for cars to a city for people, from the same point of view, urban planners began to consider individual urban mobility. The term for light personal transport is just beginning to be applied in Ukraine. The article defines the term "light personal transport". The authors formulated the goals and objectives of the study of general approaches to the infrastructure for light personal transport development. The article considered the existing terms and definitions of individual vehicles in Ukraine, legislative and regulatory requirements for users, and the necessary infrastructure by the Law of Ukraine "On Road Traffic" and the Traffic Rules, as well as foreign practices in terminology relating to light personal transport. Currently, the question of participation in road traffic of persons using electric scooters for movement (gyro boards, gyrocycles, electric bicycles, electric scooters, mini Segways, smart ways, smartsigways), driven by an electric motor and a skateboard, roller skates are not defined. From this point of view, approaches to the classification of light personal transport are presented. The technical characteristics of the main types of light personal transport are given namely, speed, charging period, and power reserve. The advantages and disadvantages of using light transport in urban conditions are listed. The current demand and main trends in the use of light personal transport in Ukraine are considered according to information from various domestic retail chains. A review of foreign experience in defining approaches to defining infrastructure elements for light personal transport is carried out. Based on all the information collected, universal approaches to the development of infrastructure for light personal transport have been determined. The authors also identified the main stages of further research.
