Анотація

Результатом проведених досліджень є застосування методу скінченних елементів до розв’язання нелінійної задачі пружної фільтрації з використанням класичного та нелінійного законів Дарсі. Розроблено програмне забезпечення для прогнозування процесу фільтрації в пористому середовищі з метою моделювання розподілу напорів при різних граничних умовах та значеннях вхідних параметрів. Проведено чисельні експерименти для різних типів ґрунтів, за їх результатами проаналізовано вплив нелінійності на результати прогнозного моделювання.

FINITE ELEMENT METHOD IN A NONLINEAR PROBLEM OF ELASTIC FILTRATION WITH COUPLING CONDITION

English abstract

In this work, the problem statement is formulated, a mathematical model of the problem is developed, and an algorithm for its solution is designed. The result of the conducted research is the application of the finite element method to solve a nonlinear problem of elastic filtration using both the classical and nonlinear Darcy’s laws. Software has been developed to predict the filtration process in a porous medium, aiming to model the pressure distribution under different boundary conditions and input parameter values. A series of numerical experiments have been conducted for various types of soils. A detailed analysis of the predicted head distribution in a geological medium with a thin inclusion over a certain period of time has been carried out. As a result, differences in the obtained results when using the classical and nonlinear Darcy’s laws have been identified, and the impact of nonlinearity on the predictive modeling results has been established. The main result of this work is the development of a computer program that enables calculations of hydraulic head distribution in a one-dimensional model with a large number of input parameters. However, a key feature of this program is not only its ability to present the obtained results in tabular form but also in graphical representations. This provides users with convenient visualization of results and allows for a better understanding of hydraulic head distribution in a geological medium. Thus, the conducted research provides a tool that can be used for a detailed analysis of hydraulic head distribution in a geological medium with thin inclusions. This will allow for a better understanding of how different parameters influence this process and the possibility of using this knowledge to develop new methods for influencing geological formations. The results of this work have practical significance for geotechnical and hydrogeological applications, as well as for further scientific research in the field of engineering geology.
